I felt it was a real privilege to get to know Rose. As our daughters are similar ages, there were numerous occasions when we would chat about various child related activities. I also chatted to Rose when our paths crossed at exercise classes and salsa dancing. Throughout all these times I was struck by her positive outlook on life, and her caring nature. Rose naturally conveyed this enthusiasm for life to all the people she met along the way, and cared deeply about all her friends. Rose always spoke with great love and fondness about her family, and I knew that she felt fully supported throughout her illness in a way that could not be surpassed. This is a tremendous charity to donate to as so much more research needs to be done to find cures for brain tumours. My daughter had a brain tumour when she was 10 so I know only too well how valuable research is in this area.
